Say hello to HALLOWZEEN (aren’t we a creative bunch lol). In true zine (pronounced zeen) style, here’s a story for you by Joe Fenna, our photography journalist

“You’re walking down the dark streets of Shoreditch, a full moon glaring down at you. It’s all hallow’s eve, a night of mischief and menace, spirits and ghouls of old London Town that refuse to lay to rest despite the efforts of modernity.

As you step into an alley, the noise and hubbub dim unnaturally, and all that remains is a repetitive dull thumping. You delve further down the dark street, only to see a series of silhouettes lurking. A chills runs down your spine like a skeleton is trying to get all freaky…

Oh god no. The horror! The worst! It can’t be… Wannabe music journalists! And they’re ALL DJS AAAAAAAHHHHH"

Just kidding we’re nice I promise. As a Halloween treat the Faded Scene Zine Team are gonna be blasting scaaaarily good tunes at Bread and Butter Lounge, 72 Rivington St in Shoreditch

If you haven’t been here before it’s two levels of house vibes. Think squeaky floor boards, steep stairs, lounging couches and more. The below is NOT Ai. People were dancing so hard with the thumping bass that caused this table to move itself lol.

And yes, it’s a dress up party!
